The OCT scan takes cross-sectional images of the retina which enables our Optometrists to look at eyes in greater detail. This device is non-invasive and uses light waves to create images of both anterior and posterior eye structures. A high resolution OCT scan assists in early detection of glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, fuch’s endothelial dystrophy and keratoconus.
